Commenting Problems II
I apologise to anyone that comes accross links to gambling, unwholesome, or just nasty links from this site. I literally have hundres of comment spam to get through and delete. Pain in the buttocks to say the least!
Anyway, I will sort them out soon, and get onto a new way of commenting. Watch this space.
Anyone seen the new Star Wars film yet? I have.

Commenting Problems
I have had to disable comment posting for a short while. I have been getting a stupid amount of comment spam, so I am turning it off until I have a chance to think about it further.

RSSing everything
After Hasan's movement towards RSS, it got me inspired. I thought to myself 'I should get up-to-date with it too'.
So, I have a added some RSS feeds of my own, both of my blog, and my blogmarks.
Not only have I done that, but I have built an RSS reader into my site. Each one of the links on my blogroll has a 'feed' option next to it (if the feed exists that is). Click on that link, and you will be able to view the feed via my site. Just incase you didn't really want to leave. Or you want to get a preview before you leave.
There are some problems with the Reader. The link tags and the guid tags in the feeds are giving me some grief, but I think I have the answer now, I just haven't had the time to implement it. Let me know if you come accross any problems that I might not have noticed yet. Thanks.

Downtime @ Wubbleyew
The site went down for a considerable ammount of time over the weekend. Apologies to all those (if there are that many of you), that tried to access the site during this time.
Apparently, the downtime was for mainantence. My host was moving to London/Dublin datacenters.
They say that I can now expect speeds 10 times faster than before. They say I should be happy with the results. What do you think? Is it faster?

Passing Validation
At this moment, my blog does not pass the w3c validator. This is not because I am a sloppy coder - even though I am - but because I have just not had time to sort it out yet. I have a few small XHTML errors to sort out in the main site code. I also worry that I have some serious XHTML errors in the older blogs on the site. To solve this I am just going to have to trawl through them all slowly, and update them.
I also have some CSS errors that I am going to deal with later on tonight I hope. If I have any problems with these though, It might take a bit longer.
It's all good fun this validation stuff! Something that has come in handy with me over the last few weeks, is an extension available for Firefox called the 'Web Developer Toolbar'. Not only does it have some great tools such as; Resize, Outline block level elements, and Disable Styles, But it also have a tool for validation. Find a site, and hit what validation you want to use. Sorted! Welldone to that man!
