Back.

It's been a long time. I felt bad for taking my old site down, and never replacing it.

One day I might actually get back on track with my own personal web projects...

So much for that...

So much for that idea of updating the site with info on my current projects. I think now that maybe we are just to busy at Netring for me to want to talk about it when I don't need to.

Don't get me wrong, I like the work I am doing (a lot), and I like discussing this work with other people in my line of work, by keeping a blog up to date with work related info is hard when your busy. Especially if you trying to make sure that your content is of a high quality (since it then takes more thought).

So, time for a change of program

I am thinking about writingabout something else other than work, design, and the internet. I don't know what I will write about yet, but it might mean more personal life stuff (Life of Findel), or maybe just some personal thoughts on nonsense and stuff. Hopefully it will breath some fresh life into this blog.

I have said it time and time again

I really want to redesign this site. the blog, and wubbleyew.com as a whole. But life is busy, and time is ever illusive. I will one day, but no promises for quite a while.

Until next time...happy wubbing!

[EDIT: If anyone has been trying to email me on my gnasp.com email accounts, then I might not have got your emails. I have been moving gnasp.com mail onto a new server, and lost some mail.]

Catching Up

Life has a horrible habit of getting very busy some times. So very busy in fact that I haven't been able to update my site anywhere near as much as I would have liked to, in the sense of content, and design.

I almost hate coming here at the moment because I feel guilty that I have no new content, and that my design is really this crap! It is no wonder that Mr Malarkey has taken me off the Brit pack list! (Edit that: he has let me back on the list now.)

Anyway, I just wanted anyone coming to this site to be aware that I am thinking about it.

At the cabin

Well, I am back, and I didn’t realise how fast time flies when you are offline. I am sure that I have missed quiet a lot in this short space in time. If anyone has pointers set up to good reads, let me know. I haven’t set up my news feeds from the new office and machine yet, so I might me a bit slow on the uptake.

Anyway, it is good to be back, and I will let you know more about how the job is going later in the week. I started last Thursday, and things are looking good so far. Just in case I didn't mention it before; my new office is in a log cabin, so I will most probably refer to it as the cabin, and not the office.

Taking life offline for a while

I am not sure how often I will be able to update the site over the coming weeks. Be sure that whenever I get a connection, I will be here to see what is happening, and maybe keep you updated with what is going on in the ‘life of findel'.

Unpluged! I'm gonna be gone a while Unpluged! I'm gonna be gone a while

You see, tonight I am packing up my computer, and tomorrow I will be taking it and a load to other stuff, up to my flat in West Wales. At the moment, the flat doesn't even have a telephone line, let alone an Internet connection. So, I will be reduced to connecting while using a friend's connection, or when I start working with Netring, next Thursday.

Even when we get a connection in the flat, it will be dial-up since Abercych doesn't have broadband yet. How am I going to survive without broadband at home? I don't know. British Telecom says it is coming though!

After I get the stuff up to the flat tomorrow, I will be coming home again, to spend one last week with my family. This time, I will be more like a visitor, because all my possessions will be at the flat, and I will be living out of a suitcase for the week. I repeat, I will have no computer, and no Internet. Don't be surprised if I go a bit quite online.

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Keep up the good work everyone; I want to see at least one big web design revelation by the time I get back up and running!
