Dominos, Food, and Pillow Fights!

Do you know how cool it is to stand on your seat, with upper half of your body going up through sun roof while your driving in the center of london? Or at least when someone else is driving you. It would be a bit dangerous if YOU were driving.

Well, if you don't; It is great fun, and I highly recommend it. Try waving to total strangers to see the response you get off them to add to the fun. But keep to waving and no other form of gestures. because the traffic does not move fast enough for you to get away fast in the car if a pedestrian starts chasing you.

Oh and if its raining this might not be a good idea again, if you don't want the inside of the car getting a bit wet.

So, yeah, I went to london this weekend to enjoy the company of some folks up there. A friend of a friend was having a going away party, and I got an invite. Thank you very much.

I got up to london at a latish hour on friday night, and didn't really do anything but go straight to sleep at a strangers house (no longer a stranger obviously though). I must stay a fast thanks to the family that let me stay over. And thanks for all the food too.

The friends that invited me up to london, and their friends also, are primarily West Indian. For this reason, I knew before hand that I was going to enjoy lots of food over the weekend. There is not much better than West Indian food. Even rice tastes like something special when it is done properly see!! I wont go on about it, but if you have the chance to try some, do so.

I discovered that dominos is a really good game this weekend. Apparently it is a very popular game in Jamaica, and so I spent a good part of the party on saturday night playing the younger guys (I wouldn't ask to play someone older, cause if they take it half as serious as we welsh take rugby, then I would lose badly). I didn't expect to do that well, but after watching it being played for a while and playing/losing for a while, I did manage to win 4 games in a row. I'm not sure if they were letting me though. Most likely I just got lucky.

The night after the party, I spent a bit of time thinking about a way of putting dominos into an online game. I still want to do this, and I want to make it multi player also. I will keep you updated on this one.

The party as a whole was very cool, with a ride range of ages. Parties like that always have a good community feel to them. Oh, and the food was great.

One thing I have to mention is the pillow fight me and a couple of the guys had. Aint had such a good pillow fight in a long long time, maybe I am getting old, but I really appreciated it. Stupid I know. The funniest part was when I had Ricky cornered into the bathroom. He had lost his pillow and I was forcing my way in. The sly little fellow found him self a Lime Spray and used that as his weapon to get out, while I covered my face from the nasty spray. Heehee. I suppose that was a bit dangerous really.

That was my weekend anyway. How about yours?
