Money Management
After reading Mr Budd's post about his book page update, I realised that my web developers book collections is in need of an update, or just in need of a better existence. This morning I finally bought the Orange Book so that I wont have to borrow it off other people all the time. I also took the advice of some people and decided to quench my thirst for understanding web development project management by buying 'Web ReDesign : Workflow That Works'. Both these books are due on friday.
For lunch I went to the local shop center, and let the Borders sign catch my eye. It wasn't too long before I found myself inside reading 'Don't Make Me Think' by Steve Krug. This is an older one I know, but the amount of people who have told me I should own it is phenomenal. So now I do, and it sits right next to me, right now.
Then I went to Tesco to get my lunch, and for once I didn't have an argument with the self service computer over how many Chicken Caesar Wraps I was buying.
All in all, a very good day for shopping. Mind you, I was meant to be saving money this month. No more spending money for me, and I didn't even get my Geeky T-shirts.
