Recent works
This is just a short entry, because that is all I have time for at the moment. I am working on something for the end of this week, maybe the beginning of next week.
After working on various different projects, of all different kinds, something has finally reached the finishing point. Ultima Cleaning is probably the first site to meet web standards properly to leave the cabin, but will not the last by a long way. The design is not beautiful, but that was out of my hands. I do think that it grows on you as you are using the site, and that it suits the company quite well.
As I said, this will hopefully be the first of many CSS based sites coming out of Netring, and the next one is already pretty much in the bag. I quite like the design of the next one also. You may recognise the design from last week; keep an eye on it as the finishing touches are added.
Update: The Glanrhyd-y-Pysgod web site is now live, and pretty much complete. Even if you don't want to go on a fishing holiday in wales, I hope you like the site.

"The design is not beautiful, but that was out of my hands"
I was stuck with using that design (and not being able to offer an alternative) due to the project budget.
Again thanks for the heads up. I greatly appreciate all forms of feedback.

The website is still usable for a colour blind person, and all the typeography is still readable for a colour blind person.
Is there something I am missing?

But, what you are seeing makes no sense. I don't think that the simulator is actually accurate. I say this because the text colour used in the images is exactly the same as the text colour used in the contact details (which is normal text not an image), with exactly the same background contrast. Yet the simulator is seeing them as different. I don't think that this is a reliable checker. Maybe it has problems rendering background images set in CSS, that sure is the way it looks.
I will however check out the site in some other colour blindness simulators (if I can find some, do you know any others?), because I would like to know for sure.
Thanks again.

Another Colour Filter
This one seems to work a lot better (but maybe slower), and gives you the option of checking against other forms of colour blindness.

Sorry, commenting has been disabled for a while. I am getting a stupid amount of comment spam, and need to find a new way of doing things.
I will not publish your email address, but I may use it to get in contact with you.
