Netring 2005

Finally, after a very long haul, between projects and in overtime, the company website has been brought up to standards, and more.

The Innocent Statement has been quite for the last few months, and this is one (just one) of the reasons why. However, I think that it has been worth it. I am quite happy with the site, it is a whole lot better than the last one we had. It has been developed in such a way that makes it easier to update, and we have more plans to extend it in the future.

Over the next few weeks I will try to take some time out to talk about the development of the site. I hope to get the chance to talk about the way it works on the front-end and the backend. But for now, you will just have to be happy with looking at it! I hope you like it.

    John,

Glad you like it. I quite liked the idea of having a link off to some of the sites we think are important in the industry. I mentioned it a while ago.

If you have any suggestions for links to go there, I would love to here them. I was thinking about puttin the WSG up there.

I already told you, but again (still), I like it. The backend work is impressive.

Thanks Rob, I sure am proud of the backend work we have done. Already we have three other clients that want to use adapted versions of the backend.

Wow, that's rather awesome. I mean, client use is the best use for any web dev. It's a challenge :) Would it be possible if you made a write-up about some cool stuff in the backend? I think many would appreciate. I would :D

That's the plan. I don't know how much detail I will be able to go into, but I will definately spread some knowledge.

    Woah

I must say you have been taking huge steps since the first time I met you at Haneng. Very nice.

It's only one thing I would change if I was you. You are now pointing to http://www.netring.co.uk/home on your home link, you should always point to the domain name, http://www.netring.co.uk/

Why? Ranking in search engines. And I'm also missing a clickable logo (I know you can fix that using CSS on your H1-tag).

Again, I liked the website very much so I ain't complaining.
